FT newbies 2016
Hi we are Charles (Sambo) and Denise (Smitty)Smith! We are newly retired rancher folks from Oregon! We have a 2013 3402RL and love it! In 2016 we left Oregon and made our way to the east coast by a route especially designed by us In order to visit friends ,relatives, the Kentucky Derby and numerous national parks and land marks! Hated to miss very much on that run! We left the end of Feb and made it back to Oregon by mid August! We are going to be slower this yr. will head south from Oregon in Nov. We traveled 30k plus miles on that first run. We hope to see as much of our country as we can befor we cannot go any more......there will come a time, we are excited to meet new friends in our travels. Smitty is a western artist/photographer person so she is always painting or taking pics! Our family is in Oregon/Wyoming so we travel that way a lot! We have 5 grandkids and love being grands!
Thankyou for letting us be a part of your group! We are here to learn!

Watch here on the Forum for Regional Rallies that take place and see if you can attend some of them. It's a great way to meet fellow Montana owners and Forum members. Welcome from Arizona. I live very close to Quartzite all you need to do is check in the Rally section of the MOC to find a sign up list.

After selecting all forums, scroll down to moc regional just past national rally stuff. First thing listed in regional is rally calendar. Look under western region to find quartzsite signup Topic. John

It was a lot of fuel but we were having so much FUN! We have an aux. tank and used the app GAS BUDDY to determine where we would filler all the way up!
Am I supposed to delete posts after awhile???

Thanks all! We are pulling out mid Nov to the Oregon Coast for a mo. Then heading to an area we heard was nice..... The SALTON SEA in s.cal.
Has anyone enjoyed this spot in Dec???
