Another about to be new (used) owner
Looking and finalizing an offer for 2014 Mountaineer 375 FLF. Currently have an 03 Cedar Creek. Hoping the Montana quality and manufacturing skill is as good as the CC has been for us. We have full-timed in the Creek for 3 years and looking forward to the additional features and size in the Montana unit. Anyone with advice and/or help or known problems with this unit , I would appreciate the info. The unit we are finalizing has been used only 3 times. Chairs in the dinette still have the factory tags on them, carpet is spotless and no seen scratches, marks or the like on it. The outside is a little weathered but it had been kept outside (not covered) and had not been cleaned up yet. Hopefully this will fill our needs for the next few years.
Appreciate and help or info that anyone can supply

Well, Cedar Creeks are certainly on a par with the Montanas. Of course, the newer Montana will have a lot of stuff your '03 CC didn't have. Hopefully the bugs have been worked out of your new-to-you Mountaineer, and you'll have smooth sailing ahead. If you have any concerns, the people on this site are most helpful. Welcome to the MOC.

Since you are a current trailer owner that has been fulltiming, not much info to give except that detailed insight you asked for at this time. Good luck with your choice, welcome. John

Welcome to the forum and enjoy the commorodity! A little bias but we feel it is the best in the RV community as pretty much everyone checks their egos at the door and give honest and helpful answers and suggestions!
Safe travels,
Les

OK, officially a Montana owner. Delivered New Years Eve at 8 pm. Yeah kinda crazy but dealer insisted on end of year delivery. Dealer forgot power cord but was able to borrow one for 2 days. They also left trade in until sat am so had a little time to finish packing etc. So far so good. A few quirks and a few questions:
1. Is the door supposed to be quite still. Screen works OK but if opening both it's a bear to work.
2. Guessing we do not have the led lights as all I see is 791 bulbs with filament unless I'm missing something.
3. o access door for the drain handles, Just handles on the frame. Is that only on the newer units?
