Great time at the 2014 Mid Atlantic Rally

Well, another fantastic rally has come and gone. All too quickly I might add. A big THANK YOU goes out to Hook and Bingo, and everyone else who pitched in, for organizing one heck of a great time.

As most of you know we had to leave a day early. As we all sat down to the pot luck dinner we received a call informing us that Lynn's father had just passed away. He was 86 and had been doing fairly well lately but on Sunday morning things changed and he passed away around 5:30 that evening. The trip home went well and we're now preparing for the funeral. We want to thank all of our MOC friends for their prayers and kind words Sunday evening. Your friendship means everything to us. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon. Be safe in your travels and a wonderful rest of the summer.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. We attended the funeral yesterday and it was a beautiful service. Though many tears were shed there was a lot of friendship and family. We shared many laughs and it was very uplifting. Lynn's dad was a character and was loved by everyone. He was a "rascal" and loved a good joke. He is at peace now and we are all very thankful for his being in our lives.

Life goes on and we will remember him fondly. Thanks again and we look forward to camping with you all again soon.
