The other day I was out looking at the Monty and noticed the third slide was open, all the way out.Anyone have that happen?can not figure out why it would open on its own.

Suggest you find the CAUSE of the problem. Slide locks are NOT the answer if your RV did not come with them (I know of no Montana that did) as original equipment.
We had this issue and our problem was the hydraulic rams which were leaking past interior seals. Not a cheap fix ($1400) but the slides now stay closed and work as designed.

Thanks for the replies-will watch this and see if leakage is the problem. And yes the slide went out on its own, lightening in the sky that day-maybe?
