I need to DRY OUT!

I have been in Aberdeen and Lakewood WA for five months and here in Aberdeen it has been wet. So damp that I broke down and bought a dehumidifier. I thought I had a leak in two of my slides and found out I had a condensation thing going on. The new appliance has taken care of it. I am done with this project in a week and I am hooking up to my new truck and going to head to Cathedral City. 70 and 80 and 12% humidity sounds really good. Humidity this morning is 96% here. I would think underwater would be 100%.LOL Looking forward to dry and warmer weather.

You should enjoy the change. We bought a dehumidifier when we thought we'd be spending the winters in Florida but haven't used it since we now winter in AZ. Humidity here yesterday was 7%.

We are in Grayland, WA (just south of Westport and Aberdeen) for the week to relax and do some razor clamming.

To avoid condensation we run the fan in the living area at about 15% and that keeps the air moving. Keep the thermostat set around 65.

The fan in the bathroom is just open and not running.

Seems to work for us.

Safe travels.

Well you missed the big snow event in Bend a couple of weeks ago - we had the opposite issue and set up the humidifiers! Can't remember the last time we had to use the snow blower more than once, in a day!!!! Cathedral City sounds really good about now!!!! Enjoy!!!

If you mean Cathedral City, CA, where there could be dry heat, then you'll need the humidity back in the air? (Does the dehumidifier run in reverse, or now you need a humidifier?). Have a safe trip and I hope you miss the projected bad rains we are supposed to be getting down here towards the end of the week until Sunday.

I won't be there for two weeks. Should be fine. The Wa. coast is just fine but I live in the desert in Central Oregon and I am not used to the wet, I moved from Seattle in 2000 and never thought I would be here in a 5th wheel. Not bad but ready for some sun.

I sold my house on the Butte a couple of weeks ago so we are full timers but still working. I am probably going to open another store in Bend someday ( I owned Benjamin"s on the south end of town) But for now I shall consult and travel.

Sounds wonderful! Didn't know you opened Benjamin's, loved that store.... Enjoy the travels, at least that way you can decide where you want to be and when...
