Didn't think I'd ever leave NC to get away from cold and snow either.

Scott and Sue, we'll send you some of our 6"of the pretty white stuff now on the ground here in Omaha and some of our temps ranging from -25 wind chills to low 20's for daytime temps if you like!

I saw where Nashville was getting some cold temps. That stuff probably melted by noon didn't it?

I have a question for any of you that are fulltiming! How do the Monty's do in this nasty weather? I am wondering if there is such a thing as getting far enough south that this kind of weather cant reach us!

gkidsdlite: Overall the Montana's do well in this weather, but like anything else you have to be prepared and ready for it. But there are limits to everything. There is such a thing as getting far enough South....You just might need a boat though big enough to carry your Montana!
JandC: Yes, most of it melted later in the day but it was pretty while it lasted. Just glad it melted away though. Suppose to be in the 40's today!

I agree with 1retired06, just enough to enjoy, and thank goodness it melted away and you could enjoy the rest of the day. The entire state of Washington has snow today too, either a dusting or a few inches. Glad I'm home and not traveling in it!

You sure won't find anyplace close to Illinois where this weather won't reach you this year! We ended up at Ft. Myers and have been in the mid 70's to mid 80's since Christmas. My Monte loves it!

I am 7 miles from Progresso, Mx. Yesterday was 83, today 43. Got new igniter installed yesterday in furnace. Yea, it worked this morning.
Been using the fireplace and a space heater most of the winter. Monty is doing just fine.

We and our monty sit at Riverside RV Resort outside of Port Charlotte, Florida from the end of October to the end of April or May each year so that we don't have to put up with the cold stuff. Full-timing is a good life... John
