Awning Clearance

As I am passing the time in this winter wonderland called Michigan, I am building a landing and staires for my 2013 3900FB. With my Monte in storage I am now secound guessing my measerements for clearing the awning. So I am asking for any of you luckiy owners who are in one of our wonderful southern states to help me out. I have the factory installed electric awning. Please tell me what the ground to awning measurenets are 4' from the door and 6' from the door. Your help will allow me to sleep nights until I can open my Monte this spring.

I have a 3800RE, but my measurements are 8 ft 11.5 at the 4 ft out distance and 8 ft 1 at the 6 ft mark. Be aware that I have my awning strapped down to the concrete pad which will lower the distances a tad. Also the one trick that I learned after having my door drag on the underside of the awning and leave a black streak from the door seal is that after deploying the awning all the way then hit the retract button momentarily which raises the overall awning away from the door so that it no longer drags on the underside of the awning. Hope this helps in some way. John
