Montana 3850 hot air vents
I havn't paid much attention but my 3850 only has 3 hot air vents inside the coach. In the kitchen,in the bath and in the bed room. You would think they might put one in the living area even though heat does rise. We have to kick the fire place on at times to take the chill off up there. the rest of the coach keeps a nice even heat.

Do you not have a round vent on the wall below the shelf unit next to the fridge? I thought that was the heat vent for the living room, but maybe it is not? Here is a pic of what I am referring to:

The 3750s have the small vent. Not much volume comes out. I too thought the 3850 had a wall vent?

I can understand, however, in this winters weather why that might not be adequate.

Dang, sounds like they cheaped out on these units. My HC has two in the living area(and fireplace), one in the kitchen, one in bath and one in bedroom. All have really good flow output, guess they did save weight in this area.

My '06 has one a floor vent in the living room, one in the kitchen/dining area, two up in the master bedroom and with our floor plan there's also a round floor vent in the toilet room (The bathroom lavatory and shower mostly open to the master bedroom. All furnace vents are pretty much straight shots so when the furnace is on, one can really feel the warm air come up. However, the bathroom vent which has bended round ducting does not seem as good but since the room is small so it gets warm quickly. I would think that the vent that Bingo showed in that picture might not do as well (small interior wall and round vent), but maybe and hopefully there's a fireplace or an electric heater to help keep things warm. You do have to be careful not to cover up these vents to keep things safe.
I've been happy with our warmth but we don't stay often in very cold climates. Only had one snowy, sleet, cold camping experience, and after the second propane refill in as many days, in this cold weather, we used the mobility to get us out of there. Better luck to those of you who don't have as much choice.

Keep in mind these are front living room models so the layout is reversed. The main difference is that ours does not have a floor vent which allowed for some additional space int he basement as well as taller ceilings. I think the vents in the rear section are pretty much the same in all models, the only difference I have seen compared to a front bedroom model is that the heating duct is not run beneath the floor.

My 3150RL(attwood heater) has 2 floor vents in the Living room, 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the bedroom, 1 in the toilet, 1 in the basement. 6 vents total.
AC vents 6 in rear area, 2 bedroom. 8 total.

Checked it out today. Bingo, you are right, that is a hot air vent but must not be hooked up at the furnace. I will put it on my punch list for the dealer.

It may be as simple as opening up the fridge compartment from the outside and seeing if the heater hose connection is hooked up there or has worked loose? Not sure as I have not been in that area, but it is hopefully held on with a large hose clamp (if not it is taped and I would recommend using a large hose clamp). I believe I will have to check ours out in order to prevent a future problem from developing. It may also be accessible by removing one of the basement wall panels. I would guess that it is unhooked at the vent, not at the furnace.

We have the 2007-3500 RL Montana. It has vents in the LR, Galley, bdrm and small rnd in toilet room. In the living room when we have the heater going, we also use the ceiling fan to keep the heat from staying up high. But like the rest of you, we also use the fireplace and have extra small heaters with fans to help keep the chill down. I will also add, the use of the heating blankets, lol. Like someone once said, the Artic package is a minimal functioning factory upgrade. Should have an Ant-Artic package, lol.
