We also got to see it at the RV show. They could not give me a price at the time but estimated $98K. Montana representatives were there also, so we got to spend about 45 minutes with one of them. It was beautiful but we still love our model 3582.

You are welcome Jan, was glad to help you out. We will wait till Tuesday at least before we try to go see that Big Sky. I have plans for Wednesday so, if we cannot see it by then, it will have to wait till Thursday. I'll go for photos.

I guess we are one of the few but we loved the new color! I just wished it had the raised letters that some of the rumors we heard about. To us sure is pretty!

This is the 1st one Keystone got ready for the RV shows. I was told the graphics were going to be raised. I am dissapointed in the paint. For me too much light colors, not enough maroon and dark paint. To me it looks like a graphics job instead of "full" body paint. Just my .02 worth

CountryGuy and I happened to need to go to Lazy Days today for some parts.

So, we thought we would look up the Big Sky.

The greeter at the door pronounced that ALL rigs were back from the State Fair grounds and would be parked with all the new units for sale, right here (she circled an area) on the map - - right over there - -

We walked part of it, and then decided to go get Jolly and try to drive the rest.

Well, we were not supposed to be in there with our vehicle, but some dude that worked for Lazy Days gave us the OK and took us to the Montana area.

No Big Sky.

And, as a side note, a lot of the rigs coming back from the show still were not in a "visit" mode, slides in, locked, etc.

We are contemplating our next approach - - will let cha all know.

Rats, and, I even had Sony Too (the good camera!)

We were not surprised, but thought we would try. We tried.

Since the Big Sky was out in the campground it will probably be the last thing that comes back to lazy days

Here is the scoop. We stopped back at Lazy Days this afternoon. The Big Sky arrived there from the fair grounds, we were told, at noon today.

They had a bit of trouble finding it, but, finally did, plugged it in, put the slides out and gave us a tour.

It was filthy on the outside, NO surprise there, it was out side at the fair grounds in the campground area for days. DUSTY! It will wash off! LOL

That dust, and the abundant sunshine we had today (blinding sunshine, no clouds) made for difficult photo shooting. Glare, reflections of trees in the dusty shiny surface, etc. Plus the shades were up inside and the lighting was HORRIBLE in there too. It was rather chilly today here (I know that is all relative, and I will not play some silly trump card that ha ha, it is warmer here than where a lot of you are.) It was 50ish and there was a cool northern wind blowing and the unit was not heated, and it was getting late. That is all the excuses and disclaimers I got. I took as many photos as I could. I did not get everything. But, I did publish 34 of them and have them stored at Mrs. CountryGuy's Picasa account.

Remember this may still be considered a prototype so changes may be in the works.

I make no promises, no judgments, I just tried to take some photos that are sorta good and show them to you.

Enjoy and here is the link.

I did put comments under each photo, with some descriptions, etc. If you have questions, DO NOT post them on the photos, cause truthfully, I won't go back there and look for them. I will try to answer questions here, but, it was a fast and furious visit, and I don't have many answers, just a few photos.

CountryGuy and I had some issues with the link earlier this evening. IF you cannot open this and see photos, please someone let me know ASAP and I will see what silly error I made. Or try to fix it.

Here is a preview:

Thanks for the pics Carol! As with every model, some things we like, a lot of things we don't. Still happy with the old-fashioned Big Sky at this point.

Carol, It is a microwave/convection oven. yes, it needs a bath, Mark Krol was upset that they brought it over to the RV show dirty--road grime including "salt" was on it. Mark vacuumed it when he took us over to see it. Thanks for taking pics.

From the photos, it looks like Keystone is really trying to upgrade the Big Sky. Looks nice from the images. Still look forward to seeing one in person soon.

I'm with Bingo! I like my colors better! Thanks for the photos. The lettering looks nice, but after having seen SOBs with stick on letters and air bubbles under them, time will tell. Several of the upgrades are nice. Well , I guess I'm a little confused. Why all the upheaval about the Big Sky? It's a dressed up Montana, nothing more. Everything different is added to the same basic coach. IMHO

Wait a minute. What is better, upgraded, premium about this new "Big Sky" Are there new spec's on the frame that will reduce or eliminate frame flex. Suspension, Looks like the same suspension??Are the holding tanks upgraded or supported??? how is the thing put together. Staples and small brads that pop out of the walls and chairs or do we have upgraded construction.
I see the same rats nest of wiring in the front compartment.

Is the "premium" big sky eye candy or is it a step or two above the regular Montana in quality and construction???
I do note that the front of the new big sky is not painted and that will prevent the ugly chipping of the paint.
