3402RL Contol Panel cover

We have a 2013 3402RL and like everything about it. I noticed on the 2014 pictures they have put a nice cover/door around the control panel. I think this finishes of the décor instead of having the black panel visible. Would anyone know if I could purchase this frame work and install in myself in my 2013? Thanks

I would imagine it's like many of the changes we've made to our rig. See it at the Rally, wait till it's out in the field, go to a Montana dealer and order the part just like you would any replacement. You might have to change the wires over to new switches but it sounds like it wouldn't be a big deal. They don't card you at Montana dealers to make sure you have that model rig so it's easy.

Marty,

click on this http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...ass,frame,over

CaptainJoe's thread on this subject includes the part numbers and size you can order thru your dealer. My understanding is you cannot order directly from Keystone. Good luck.

We liked the cover as well. Thing is, it was introduced with the new cherry décor (correct me if I'm wrong). Our 2013 is a Hickory Edition. Sure would like to add it to ours.

I just bought a 2013, 3402RL and had the dealer order a door for me which I installed myself. It takes a little maneuvering to get the old frame off and put the new frame with door on, but not too hard. There are a lot of wires tied into the switches on the panel, so just take your time and be careful. Cost of part is about $125
