Light bulbs

Sorry if this is a duplication, but I searched and found nothing pertaining to my question. I need to replace some of the bulbs in the overhead lights. I pulled one out and they are one's I haven't seen before. Are they common to find at Wallie-World, Home Desperate or Lowelies?? What part number am I looking for? Thanks.

You don't say what year you have, so I assume they are the "blade" type incandescent bulbs. 906,912 and 921 all work. Look for a faint number on the bulb. Of the numbers I listed, the higher the number, the brighter the lumens.

That would have helped wouldn't it??? Lol

I have a 2008 3400 Montana. Can I find these at most local stores or is this a "specialty" item?

Mind if I ask what bulbs you used and where you got them?

Micheal&kat on this forum have their own business importing top quality ied's at reasonable prices. Email them for pricing. What you have now are basically tail light bulbs available at Wally's or auto parts stores.

Here is the link to Michael and Kat's website: http://www.filamentfree.com/ Contact them and they will set you up with what you need, at the right price and the best quality out there, IMHO.

We replaced every single 12v bulb in our rig with their product and have never regretted it. They provide much, much more QUALITY light than the standard 12v incandescent and we will more than likely never need to replace them because they will probably outlast us and if they outlast the rig, we can easily take them to a new rig.

Oh, and did I mention that MOC Members get an additional discount? Just mention that you are an MOC Member when you contact them.

LEDs are way to go, but they are expensive. You can replace the whole "Pancake" style ceiling light fixtures for around $37. The replacement bulb types are called "wedge" also.

Go with the LED's....we replaced every bulb in the coach with Michael and Kat's LED's for about $350 but worth every penny. Light is better and they use a fraction of the electricity which will save your batteries.

I was going to start replacing mine with LED's when a couple burned out. But then I found a local RV shop that sold me a box of 20 921 regular bulbs for under $12.00.

Michael & Kat’s bulbs last a long time.

I got mine a few years ago and the one on the outside front of the trailer has a broken switch and has been on since I got it from Michael & Kat I think this is about 2 years.

Oh my DQDick.... please correct your post. I don't recomment ANYONE to use ied replacements. LED replacements from Michael&Kat are a much better recommendation. Wow, some typos can really change things up, eh?

I ordered the LED bulbs for Michael on Thursday morning, to replace all our current bulbs. My order was shipped within an hour, and I received them 48 hours later (from Reno, NV to West Palm where are vacationing). That is the most unbelievable customer service I have ever had! And, what a difference they make. They are definitely much brighter. And, I received 20% off because I am. MOC member. Michael's website is

www.filamentfree.com

You can email him with questions to filamentfree@gmail.com
