New Model...3610RL
Just noticed on the Montana website a new model #3610RL. Specs aren't posted yet but the floor plan is there. Did I miss something on this new model, was it a prototype shown at the rally? Has anyone seen one yet?

It is very similar to the old 3605RL with the curbside hallway, only with an added kitchen island, and with the kitchen and desk slides combined into one slide. There are other minor changes in furnishings lay-out as well, but essentially, it is a makeover of the 3605RL.
Although the 3400RL was arguably the most popular Montana for quite some time, I think the 3605RL did OK for Keystone while it was still in production, thus, an attempted revival.

We looked at all the models at the rally and 3610 wasn't there. Like the back couch. We moved our couch like that in out 358 mountaineer and love it.

Finally, another floor plan with the chairs facing the TV and theater seating, too. Very nice. Looks like the toilet area is kind of small.

Quite similar to my brother's Cedar Creek 36RE. Hmmmmmm......maybe I can get him to join the MOC yet. They have been talking new.

Exactly, Joe! The living area is almost identical to a Columbus model that we stumbled on last show time. With our current 3455 we switch the sofa bed and recliners for any long stays for direct on viewing. We always switch back because we don't have quite enough clearance for the slides to leave the sofa across the back. Perhaps they have allowed a little more depth back there?
So rear window is good, direct on viewing is good, all enclosed bathroom with large shower is good, oh oh the desk! The desk, were is the desk area for my D/W the crazy quilter???

GEEZ...somebody would have to post a floorplan that the DW may like better than ours! I guess we'll be lookin' this Spring.

You have my sympathy of course, guess we all know that if DW is happy......
Curious though, what are your likes and dislikes of this particular new floor plan. I am surprised we haven't had more opinions on this new layout?

If I am looking at it right... No carpet. Not sure if I wpuld miss the warmth of carpet but definitely easier to keep clean.

As you said, it looks like a Columbus, which is a floorplan we really liked. we think it looked like it was designed by someone that uses a camper.

I really like this new floor plan. We put our couch and chairs in our 358 Mountaineer like this and I love it especially fir watching TV. We did not like the bathroom in the 3582 Montana which is why we bought the Mountaineer. I especially like the w/d area or pantry/coat closet in the 3610 and wonder if you can get to frig with slides in. Also Like the bathroom much better than the 3582. Very nice floor plan, if ours wasn't new I would be interested in it, but I think the one we have now will take us on out of here.

I think you are right about the carpet, but one of the complaints we have had with our current 3455 and previous 3400 was that there was too much carpet. Particularly under the dining table area and stretching over to the back of the counter. In our sticks and bricks we have hard flooring everywhere so a nice area rug in the 3610RL would feel just like home.
