Anyone have a tip on how to remove scratches from the Corian counter top?

There are complete instructions on how to remove scratches and re-polish a Corian countertop on the DuPont-Corian website. www2.dupont.com/Corian

Go to http://www.dupont.com/products-and-s...-surfaces.html
scroll down to almost the bottom of the page on the right hand side and look under"ADDITIONAL INFORMATION"
There is a document called "Corian Care In Use - English (PDF)"
Open that document - it has the information you're looking for.

Poloace, are you sure it is corian? I have the same model and I used compound to do mine followed by a coat of polish and a buffer. Looks great.

Use a mild to medium abrasive polishing compound and a power handheld polisher. It worked wonders for our badly scratched countertop and it's easy to do. I followed that up with plastic polish and it now has a new shine .... until something touches it. It's not a great countertop surface IMHO.

Moutard2 has it absolutely correct. We had a repair made by the factory rep at the Keystone Customer Service Center and that's exactly what they did.

I am pretty sure the Mountaineer models come with a fiberglass type counter top. Look under the counter and if you see a rough surface it is not Corian. The process for polishing fiberglass likely is different from Corian.

Not sure if all the Corian tops have this, but our 2012 3402RL has a little emblem attached on the surface next to the faucet. You definitely must use a cutting board, and we even have a wood cutting board that covers the entire work area left of the sink.
