Brrrrr ... would you want to do this?

I ran across this person's blog and read his plans for winter camping in the mountains near Steamboat, CO. Interesting.

We spent the first winter I retired living in Steamboat Springs, stayed in the same campground as this guy is!! It was interesting but what a winter of skiing I had!! We knew what to expect cause we lived there from 89 till 07 when we sold the house, so no big surprises. Did shovel the roof a few times!!

We have several members who do Montana or Alaska in the winter. They like it and know how to deal with it, not for me though.

It's 52 here in Tuscaloosa, AL today and going down in the 20's tonight and tomorrow. Was 74 yesterday, that's my kind of weather. I'm not a cold weather kind of gal. Headed a little further south soon.

Good for him! It's currently 9 degrees at the RV with about 7" of snow on the ground here! Love it!

No way in hell!! It has been down in the twenties at night here in Goshen. I am already sick of it and ready to pack up the old Challenger and head south.
