32 Dregee Camping 2009 3400 RL
We headed up to Santa Fe New Mex. for a few days. The weather is showing low 30 at night. Do we need to be concern about our fresh water hose freezing ? I thought about disconnecting the fresh water hose during the night time and use the water pump if needed.
Thanks Les

I had mine freeze a few times in Florida. I learned to shut it off, disconnect and drain it and use my fresh water tank if needed

Your right at the point where you may need to do something. Stop by a hardware store and get some of the black pipe insulation. Put that on your hose and you should be fine.

Open your gray tank and let the faucet do a slow drip and your o/s water hose will not freeze at that temp. I've done this many times in FL when the Temp dropped to the low 30's.

If it were me, I'd disconnect, drain & store. You'll sleep better.

I've used heat tape on hose before and it works well. Be certain not to double it back as one of my neighbors did - that'll melt the hose, blow the breaker and cause a mess.

If it is only going into the mid 20's or 30, leave a faucet on a very slow stream or fast drip. Make sure your sewer drain hose slopes down and does not have loop in it.
Below 25, fill fresh tank and store hose.

We have never had a problem with our water line freezing in 30 degree nite temperatures, so long as it warms up in the morning. Had our black tank freeze solid one winter in Colorado, but that is a different horror story.

Ditto on the 30 degrees not being a problem, however, what I did to help was to make sure that the water supply hose was tucked beneath the rig. In addition, I usually have the water hose draped over the axles, (to partially hide it), which allows some heat from the rig floor to assist.
