Contact for Keystone

We have a 2011 3455SA that we bought in August of 2011. When we were driving back from our Glacier National Park vacation in July we stopped for lunch and a guy pulled in behind us and said that our rubber roof had a bubble in the rear when we were driving. I climbed up on the roof and could not find any issues. When we got home I took the trailer to the dealer. The service man said that it looks like the glue in several places on the roof was coming loose. He took pictures and sent to Keystone. There have been several exchanges between the dealer and Keystone but the bottom line is Keystone says since it is past the 1 year warranty they will not do anything. The dealer thinks it needs a new roof.

I am looking for a name of someone to call at Keystone that I talk to and see if they will cover some of the expense.

Thanks for any information

Might also be covered under your insurance policy?

Good Luck with Keystone. You probably will need to file a comp claim with your insurance and maybe let them fight Keystone.

You might also contact Dicor, and see what they say.

Seems like Keystone just helped ExNavyDiver with a similar problem on a unit older then yours. I would search for that info on this form and use it as ammunition to negotiate with. Jim

Keystone approved 2.5 labor hours. That was plenty of money to fix our problem. Over year out of warranty.

I thought the roof had a longer warranty than the rest of the trailer -like 10 yrs? Am I mistaken-AGAIN?

The roof material has a warranty from Dicor. I see the problem of possibly improper installation by Keystone. That would fall back on Keystone.

IF the OP ends up having to replace the roof, might look into this. Rhino who makes bed liner paint has a product that is sprayed on the top of a RV after the rubber is removed. Not a recommendation, jut a idea.
