The somewhat sad farewell tour

Last weekend was both a sad time and a time to look forward with some joyful anticipation. We spent the weekend in the 3750FL for what will be it's last time serving as our home on wheels. Camped at Greenbo Lake State Park with Bill-N-Donna next to us. Had to take some final pictures for the memories:

Bill hosted a great campfire on the last evening:

And then back to it's parking spot for about the next month:

The next and final trip will be one to North Carolina, where after some period of time, hopefully the 3750FL will be adopted by another loving family and will treat that family as well as it did ours! The return trip will be with our replacement home on wheels in tow, a 2014 3850FL Big Sky that hopefully will be ready to pick up somewhere around Halloween. It will definitely be a long month!!

Bingo

You trade RV's like some trade trucks. The ash tray wasn't even full yet!
Congrats,
Mike

Always hard to leave an old friend. Particularly one you've shared great memories with.

Looks like you had great weather compared to what we had here..... Lots of wind, rain and the dreaded power outage that occasionally happens. For a minute I thought I was at the coast, but that is this weekend.....
