Awning
I am having a problem with my awning. It will not close stright, kind of crooked to the point that I cannot lock the latch to secure it. I tried pushing it stright. When the material rolls up, it kind of slide to one side like a fishing line does in a reel. I think something is bent.

Try sliding the awning in the correct direction in the rail near the roof. Their should be a screw that holds the plastic rope so you will have remove to slide in the rail

I had the same problem with mine for a while. I had to slide the material in the groove along the tube not where it attached to the side of the camper. Several times it would miss alignment with the post when I was rolling it up. After a few times I got it positioned where it would finally close ok and I haven’t had any more trouble.

Let the awning out. Slide the awning material in the roller track enough to offset the misalignment of the rails . May take a couple of tries , but easy to do.

Our's keeps blowing fuses after the worst rain storm we've ever been in. Any suggestions? It's up now, so hope someone can help with it when we get to Goshen.
I have removed your two duplicate posts and left this one.

My manual awning is doing that now. When it retracts both rails seem to go slightly right of their mounts. I get on a ladder end smack them back into place. Unfortunately, when I extract it I need to get back up on the ladder to get the rails loose since then stay bound to the mounts and I have to give them a big tug to get them loose.
It looked like the fabric would be impossible to slide back into position but I'll have to give that a try.

Don't know if this is relevant, but there is one simple thing that I learned with our manual awning. When it would not retract in a straight line, I found that by moving the hand-held strap to the side that seemed to lag (rather than it being positioned in the middle of the awning) would allow that end to roll up "tighter" than the other end and over the course of a couple of retractions would align the roller tube with the rig.

my right side arm started missing by about the width of the arm this year. I tried to move the top of the awning to the left, would not budge. Found if I took a c-clamp with two small pieces of 1/4" plywood and clamped it to the lower right side, I was able to move the awning material over enough so it will now shut. After it is up I sometimes have to give it a push on the am to lock in place but it is working. I tried and tried to move the top end over but it won every time. This seems to be working for me.
