Works like a champ, and superior quality too. Not cheap though.

Viair is what I have, goes to my air horns. I just added an air hose connection to it and have 50 ft of air hose to reach the tires as my compressor is mounted in my trucks tool box. It has 120 psi and fills lots quicker then the cheaper portable ones. I carry a bottle jack just in case but I don't plan on using it,,,,Coach Net is a back saver.

I have a 110v 3-gallon pancake compressor which I keep under the bed with all the other stuff I don't think I'll use regularly. I also have a 12v compressor from my Jeeping days which I keep in the box in the bed of my pick-up - easy access, no powerful 110v in the truck without the trailer. I also keep a 12-ton Harbor Freight bottle jack in the box.
In an earlier post somewhere here, I posted several photos of using the interlocking Lego-type block under the one remain good tire to raise the failed tire off the ground. Just be sure to loosen the lug nuts before raising the RV (don't ask me how I discovered this fact).

I have the Viair compressor and works very well. I also, sometimes, carry a 110volt, Sears air compressor.

Just got back to Spokane after leaving Kellogg Idaho for Spokane, the right rear Monty tire got sliced and quickly went down, made it to the side of I-90 and within minutes Idaho State Trooper was there asking to help, he set up flares and checked what I needed. Had impact wrench and jacks so did not call road service GS trucks were whizzing bay but in passing lane, got the spare on and took the next exit to check pressure. 55 pounds (my fault) thank goodness for Harbor Freight 12volt high volume. Dumb me for not checking pressure on the spare!

Thanks for all the great responses and the ideas. Sounds like I need to start carrying my 110V air compressor, a 12 ton jack, and most important get Coach Net or Good Sam’s for roadside assistance.
On the question of where to lift the guy that does VA State inspections always lifts from the axel with a floor jack. Not sure he really would know but he inspects a lot of trailers.
