powerking towmax tire

has anyone filed a claim with powerking towmax tires for damages on blow outs. they denied my first request of course, i sent them the tire and they sent a letter stating overheating of sidewalls which in turn means underinflated or overlosded with its not i check my tires everytime we move at cold psi and air to 80 psi. as for overweight i had the trailer weighed righ after the blowout and certified and was 8260 on the trailer axle and 19400 total combined which leaves about 1000lbs from max of 12270 so what is my nest step i requested 1000 for my deductable and a new tire.

File a complaint with Good Sam's Highway Magazine. Send copies of everything you have to: Action Line, Highways, PO Box 90020, Bowling Green, Kentucky, 42102-9020. They're really pretty good at getting a fair deal for RVers. Then as soon as possible put some decent tires under your rig.

Glad they stepped-up. How'd they go from nothing to $1000?

It's beats admitting there WAS a problem and if they call it a Good Will gesture then they make themselves the heroes and they are helping you out since you obviously don't know what you are doing and DID abuse their less than stellar equipment. This saves them lots of money not having to fix an underlying issue they don't know how to fix or will never admit to.

$1000 is better than nothing but I would feel a hollow victory.

yes art maybe somewhat of a hollow victory but we did get our deductible out of it and a chance to fight again another day, hopefully not in the near future.
