Bulb over Stove (under Microwave)
I have converted over to LED (Michael & Kat's) and would like to change the bulb that is over the stove with a LED. It gets really hot. It is a screw base 125V 30W. Has anyone found an LED replacement for this bulb?

Are you sure about the screw base? Ours is a two prong halogen bulb and they do get hot. Just had to replace ours and found the replacement at Lowes.

Thanks for the replies. If I ever find one I will post the information as it seems I'm not the only one looking for a replacement...

I did find some great 60 W LED bulbs for the fixture over the dining table at Home Depot by Cree. They look like a regular bulb and were only $13.00 providing much better lighting and stay cool.

A few months ago I asked Michael about this bulb but haven't received any response yet. The clearances are really right and I think it would be a real challenge. It would be nice because that's the bulb I would like to use for a night light.

I asked Michael and he said that he has not found one yet to replace that bulb. So we'll all keep our eyes open for when one is available and Please post here if anyone finds one that fits. So far an LED is not made to fit that size...

I noticed the other day my wife's sewing machine had the same bulb in it but it was frosted. I'm going to check at the sewing center and see if they have them in LED
