Making a List - Checking it Twice!!

One of the disadvantages of having the rig in storage is the process of loading it up for trips. We are two weeks away from our two week vacation at the beach and the Mid-Atlantic Rally so in eager anticipation of much needed time off, I have started my list of what all needs to go in the rig. One of these years, I may get educated and actually have a computer-based permanent list, who knows. The list is to simply make sure I can get everything in the rig as quick as possible when we pull the rig to the house, since we have parking restrictions in town. The list is currently over forty items and does not include food and clothes. Gee whiz!! Oh, just remembered I need to add my subsonic water balloon deflector to the list for the rally arrival. Darn, just gave my secret away as to why the old fogies never could hit us!! Not bad aim, just the wonders of modern technology! Back to the countdown!! Safe travels everyone, and if you happen to see us traveling down I-77 , I-40, etc. etc on the way to Myrtle, Tuesday the 23rd, stay clear, there will be three womenfolk in the TV that will be providing enough distractions for the driver!!

Even easier when you full time in it. Only have to remember what to store. Have a great time and a safe trip!

We spend 2 days packing up for the Arizona winter and still manage to forget things. I don't know when we were working and could pack up in a matter of hours and get started. We haven't slowed down that much because of being retired. Brought the Wok down to do stir fry in Arizona and forgot the power cord, had her sister MAIL it down to us. OLD AGE!!

I'd be glad to email you my Excel checklist if you'd like. I found its easier to follow the checklist. I also have a setup and tear down checklist.
I'm developing a storage checklist as well. The memory just ain't what it used to be. The checklist makes it easier and can be modified as needed.

I have a list for everything...still manage to forget one or two items. Those items that are forgotten are added to the list.
