Where's my window?????
Bout 2 1/2 weeks ago we discovered the emergency hatch window in the livingroom shattered. Not sure if someone mowing the grass hit a rock (but I don't remember hitting one) or if the kids in the woods with their BB guns were at it. But hauled it into the dealer who ordered the window....but now get the story that Keystone has to make it so it's gonna be 2-3 weeks. So instead of being able to get it cleaned up and waxed for our trip coming up at the end of the month to Pa., I sit here twiddling my thumbs.....at least that's my excuse lol lol

Dave,
If the frame is not messed up why not go to a auto window or just a regular window shop and have them cut the kind of glass you need/want? Just an idea.
When we lost ours we lost the entire frame. The steel holding the glass was strung out along the side of the coach. Good luck.

We were able to get a local glass outfit to repair our broken window.

Keep us informed on how this goes. I'd always assumed I could get our double panes replaced at a regular glass shop but don't know that for sure.

Well the dealer said he tried at a couple of local glass shops around and said it would take even longer??? I don't know why. Yeah I could clean and wax my rig if it were here, but it's still at the dealers which is about 40 miles away in Round Rock....didn't wanna haul it back and forth....

Well it's been 3 weeks since Keystone received the order for my window. Dealer has 2 calls into Keystone already and just left another to get info on why it's taking so long to get a dang window????? We'll see if they call back with the info on it today. Would it be all that terrible if I bypass the dealer and call Keystone myself, or give the dealer a chance here...

If it is a tinted glass, bring it to a window shop, put in a clear glass and have a tint shop, tint it black for you. probably still cheaper then one from keystone
