Level Up System
When I take the Monty to storage, I flip the battery kill switch off. Will this wipe out the current setting that the level up has programed as "level" and then I'll have to go through process of leveling the unit myself then reprogramming the level up system?

I asked a similar question in another thread but haven't gotten any answers yet. To answer your question..no the kill switch will not wipe out the level up memory. But, your battery will drain down even with the kill switch off as I have just found out. I now have disconnected the battery and brought it home to recharge and so it appears that the battery will always need to be disconnected when in storage. My question was "Does disconnecting the battery wipe out the calibrated position requiring recalibration when battery is reconnected."

The battery switch in the convenience compartment is past the power connections to the level up. So my answer is no, however since I don't have that system I am 99% comfortable with my statement.
Disconnecting the battery could, it will depend how long the level up can hold memory and what type of memory it is. I give that one a 50% chance of yes it would. I believe some of the drain on the battery is from the level up system computer. Probably most of it with the battery switch turned off.

Tried to get an answer to this and Lippert is taking today off for the holiday. If I remember on Monday (remember I'm old) I'll call and get an answer.

When I changed out my 12V batteries to 6V there was no battery connection for a couple of days. I did not lose the memory for my level up. I have no idea how the memory is stored in the system but would expect it is Eprom. If it is, there should be no need to recalibrate.
I think you will be ok but not 100% sure.

I have had my batteries disconnected many times and have never lost any memory. I have never had them disconnected for long term.

I have a 2nd battery disconnect at the batteries that kill power to the entire coach. I use it when coach is left in storage. I have had no problems when I turn the power back on with getting the coach to level again.

I'll ask that question at the Lippert factory on the 5th, since we are having the Level-Up system installed. Any other questions I should ask while I'm there? Will be at Mor-Ryde on the 7th for X-Factor & wet shackles.

One thing to know about Mor/Ryde. If you stay overnight in the plant, go to bed early. They start work in there around 5:30am.

Thanks Dick. They told me to be there at 0700, so will be up at 0600 and clear the Elkhart Campground early. Will drive the route the day before just to make sure I know the route. Mor-Ryde built a pseudo camping area across the street from the plant.

Yea, it should be done by now. When we were there in May there was no electric or water and the trains go by about every 15 to 20 minutes, worse that at the Fairgrounds.
