When we had the recliners in the back we used 2- six foot bungie cords to hold the chairs together back to back with a pillow or blanket between them at the top of the chairs . Never had a problem with them that way. We have done some furniture relocation and now have a dining table with only two chairs in the back window, moved the sofa down to where the dining table was and removed one of the recliners from the unit and put the other one where the sofa was with an end table between the sofa and the recliner. We've also found a cabinet the height of the table and put it in the back window also and set our ice machine on it when parked and use it for more canned and dry goods foods in the bottom part. Works for us.
We tried to put the sofa in the back window area but the arms were to long(about 1 1/2" to long) and the slides would not close.
