New Air Lift 5000 Ultimate Installed
Thought I would pass on my complete satisfaction with my new Air Lift 5000 Ultimate air bags, which were installed on my 2012 Ford F250 diesel along with the on board compressor and Wireless Air Remote. They are running a rebate program until the end of the month and hit a 50 rebate on both items making it 100 total off. Our 295 RKD Mountaineer does not have the Mor-ryde pin on it and I wanted to start with this first as it raised the truck back up the almost 3 inches to level and added a new, much smoother ride for bumps and dips. No more bottoming out which can be the cause of that jerking feeling. Two trips so far on them and still smiling at the investment. In my book. highly recommended.

I put Firestone airbags on our truck and no regrets. Well worth installing.

Denfinger, wait until you end up driving at night for whatever the reason and you feel like a responsible owner because you are not blinding oncoming traffic because you turned your headlights into highbeams. And when you want highbeams you actually have to switch them on! There's just something about driving your behemoth and everything is just right in spite of the load.
Even DW noticed such an improvement in the ride, the smoothness and thereby the comfort. I went with Firestone because my fiver hitch interfered with the Airlift air bag system. But whatever you get you'll love the ride. I can relate to your happiness.

Change the pin yet to the Mor-ryde and you'll have to keep looking in your rearview mirror to make sure it is still there.
The combination of the two, airbags smoothing out the vertical movement and mor-ryde pin smoothing out the horizontal, makes for a sweet ride.

We did the Ultimate 5000, and the onboard air for it too. Just like when I went from a spring-ride big rig to an air ride one,it made a very nice difference in the ride. Money well spent on both accounts, but still waiting for our rebate check. I could almost get a fill -up for the Duramax with it.

We have air bags and a 5th Air Borne pin box, after visiting with friends in Silverdale W. last week my DW said we should stop for lunch before picking up the Monty,
Problem was we had it in tow at the time.
Yes the air ride is worth the money
