If your GFCI circuit breaker keeps popping...
Couldn't figure out why our gfci circuit breaker kept popping during a rainstorm, despite several resets. The outside outlet is covered and is dry.
Then I noticed the fridge had switched to gas. Hmmm, that must be on the gfci circuit. Pulled the outside access panel and it appeared some moisture was getting to the outlet where the fridge is plugged into. Since I was getting soaked in the rain I fashioned a temporary shield to protect the outlet from the rain.
That took care of the problem.
I didn't realize the fridge is on that gfci circuit. So, bottom line, keep that in mind if you have gfci breaker popping problems.

That's interesting . . . I keep trying to find logic behind a lot of things Keystone does, but have begun to realize there just isn't any (or at least not much!) in many of them.

Thanks for the info. Considering the possibilities when defrosting the frig using a hair dryer, hooking it to the GFI circuit may not be a totally bad idea.

Another thought is that the GFI itself can go bad. Found that out when I couldn't figure out why it kept popping and tried everything else.
