Kitchen Lights
On to my next issue.
The two ceiling mount lights in the kitchen and the hanging light by the door all stopped working. They bulbs are fine, but turn on the switch and you get nothing. No breakers are displaying a problem.
I don't know if we have had some sort of electrical surge or what but has anyone had this happen to them?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The lights in the kitchen are DC if they are the small ceiling mounted bulbs, so it will be a fuse that would be lit, when the lights are turned on (even though they won't come on). The ceiling fan light is AC which would be a breaker. The switches are a weak point as well, but I would double check the fuses first.

Bingo is right on. Turn the switch on and check the lights above the automotive type fuses.

Just repeating forum knowledge gained from Jim and H.John and quite a few others!! The quicker we can help a MOCer in need, the more valuable the forum is. Believe me, after some of the predicaments I have been in and relying on the forum for bailouts, I understand the frustrations that even simple things can cause. Of course, my secret used to be that I would use the forum for the help I needed, and tell DW that I figured it out and get bunches of brownie points. So for all those times, that I portrayed myself as knowledgeable, I owe a debt of gratitude to those on the forum who enabled me to act like I knew something!! Hee Hee!!
