Back on the road / new truck

I been out of commission for weeks. Had neck surgery followed by 5 level back fusion. My wife felt I deserved a new Truck and bought me a new Ford F450 fully optioned. Now I can look good like Jay Bird! Lol. I love the tight turning radius and everything new in the 2014 models. It has the new 2014 options (dash etc) as it was built in May! We begin a 8500 mile journey when Dr approves! I stopped pain meds so I should be good to go!!! My wife has become an excellent driver and that has allowed some short camping trip. May just milk this a bit longer!

Glad to hear things are going well and a new truck will help to sooth some of the pain for sure! Congrats!

I am jealous! Of the truck, not the surgery.

New truck? After visiting the doctor all I ever get is a bill!

Keep up the recovery and may all your future trips not be a pain in the neck. I hope you remember that when you stop milking things the experience from the driver's seat just might be better.

BTW - I took a gander of the picture show from the link in your signature. I'm guessing you'll need some new ones with the new truck.

Congrats!!!

You will love how that 6.7 tows. Enjoy!

BB I found Valium and Norco really played a major role in teaching her to tow! That's me taking those drugs! Lol

Good luck with the neck and truck. Nothing like that new truck smell and the lack of dings and minor annoyances to get one excited about traveling.
