Increase Pressure in Shower
Hello. Is there a way for me to increase pressure in the shower? Its too low to do its job.

Many of us have switched to the Oxygenics shower head, it does an excellent job at low pressures

My immediate solution is to turn on the water pump and let it add pressure to the line when taking a shower.
My second suggestion is to change the shower head to the Oxygenics shower head sold at camping world, etc. I have this one and am very pleased. I do know one person that does not like it.
Third there may be a restriction device in the faucet area or the end of the shower hose. I can not verify this is the case.
I hope this helps and safe travels.

The Oxygenics is one of those "must have" upgrades. We love ours so much, we not only took it out of our old trailer and put it into the new Monte, but we also purchased one to put into our stick house.
A couple of other thoughts:
1) your existing water pressure regulator may be set too low, their usually at the 40-50 psi level, and you can easily use one that's rated at 60 psi.
2) the screen in you existing water pressure regulator my be clogged, reducing the flow rate.
3) same if you're using an in-line water filter. It may be time to get a new one.
Others will probably pipe in with other valuable suggestions.

My wife likes them so well, we installed them in both showers at the stick house as well as the Monty.
Another thing we noticed is about a month after we added our water softener to the Monty, our water pressure is better all through the rig.

Same here on the Oxygenics. We were looking for ways to conserve water since we mostly boondock and like to stretch our tanks out as long as we can. After hearing about it here on the MOC I thought that we'd give it a try. What a difference.
It really seemed like we were using more water the shower was so good. It made me do a little test just to make sure I really wasn't using more of our precious water.
I ran the water and filled up a jar to a line just to see how long it took. Then I switched back to the old shower head and did it again. I timed both to see the difference.
I don't recall the exact numbers but I was something like 10 seconds for the Oxy head vs 7 seconds for the OEM. The water savings was 30-40% and the shower was way better.
It was one time the sales hype matched reality. Great Product!

I took the advise of MOC members and thought I'd try the Oxygenics shower head. I just installed it and boy what a difference!!!! It came with the shut off valve and I only replaced the shower head and left my current hose and wall mounting. Fit perfect!!!!!

I am not boon docking. Can I enlarge the tiny hole right from faucet to improve the flow for time being?

You don't have to boondock to use the Oxygenic shower head and take advantage of it. It gives you a better shower which feels like more water coming out of the head but actually is using less. It's an upgrade that is worth every penny. The newer ones have the shut off valve so you can twist a knob/handle rather than the actual shower head to shut off the water and we're hoping to get one of those now because the turning of the shower head itself to turn the water off and on is a bit tough especially with soapy hands. Go to CW or your local RV dealer and pick up an Oxygenic shower head and you won't regret it.

We like ours, too, but found that the twist on/off, even on the newer heads is a pain with wet soapy hands. I installed a 1/4 turn on/off handle on mine between the faucets and the hose to the shower head, and it works great.

There is a water restriction device in the OEM shower head. Remove it and you will have ample pressure.

Thank You! That worked. I will get a better shower head later, but this is going to work fine for now.
