For those who aspire to be carpenter's (Clean now)

I am currently looking at a thread from another forum that was posted on the boating forum I belong to that is absolutely breathtaking and hilarious. The carpentry techniques are out of this world. So if you have the morning to waste, here is your dose of off-topic I-don't-even-know-what-to-call it!!

LINK DELETED

CAUTION! There is some very crude language that I did not notice until I posted the thread. I deleted the link because of the language, but I cannot get over the photos, and will try to find a link to the photo album. Sorry.

I apologize if any member looked at the thread before I deleted it, I wish I would have read it first before posting. Sorry, sorry and sorry if anyone was offended!

Next Edit: Let's try it this way:

That is a good one! Worth the look see. As a retired professional carpenter I think I might be able to muster up a couple of comments. Joe

From the initial pics.. no foundation? Must be great to live in a place with no chance of wood rot followed by T-E-R-M-I-T-E-S

Tom,
I was not comfortable with the language on the other board, so did a little work to clean it up. Don't know how I missed the original post, however, I only had forum access through an i-phone for the last week, so maybe that had something to do with it? Sorry for the repeat folks!

No problem. Wasn't offended by the language. Heard it all before.

So do you think he had a building permit or inspection?

What I think is priceless is the lock on the front door. It might keep somebody from going thru the front door but I don't think access is going to be an issue. But hey at least he painted it.

Thanks for the chuckle. After 43 years as a carpenter, I guess I can say I've seen it all!!

The lock may protect those who would desire to enter the facility!

Bad language??? Hummm. Have you ever heard someone removing a black tank that they thought was completely empty?

Or shove a stick up the outlet pipe to see why nothing was coming out. In my defence, I was only 18 yrs old. I can still smell and taste it every time I pull the black tank handle, even now, 40 yrs later.

The only thing I see wrong with that house is if it where being built here in Ca is that we would have at least two or three inspectors on the job.
