Yes, but my boy Carl won. Dry spell of 70 races without a win. Hope that's over.

They have had 2 races with this new Gen 6 race car and so far it hasn't helped for a good show for Nascar. They had to do something better from what they had so some tweaking will happen as they go along. The one main thing they could do in my opinion would cut about half that spoiler down. That thing is huge. Get rid of the ground effects on these things and let the driver do the racing, you will see a whole lot better show.

I agree with you on that.

I was telling Sue that Carl should skip the back-flip, too much risk. But the fans love it.
He and Tony are our fav's. We detest the Bush bro's..

I don't like anything about Kurt, but Kyle seems to have settled down some after all the trouble he got into. Not saying I'm a fan, but he can sure drive. Carl is probably in better shape today than he was when he was younger.

Just heard today that the NRA has purchased the rights to the Texas race and so the Texas 500 will become the NRA 500. Stock cars haven't had gun racks in the back window since moonshiners were the racers . Should be fun except for the blocked view out the rear window camera.
