As I saw the topic again a minute ago, it occurred to me that electrocution is a cure for stupidity.

My family and I were visiting Lake Powell one summer. There was a big commotion at one of the docks. A family had rented a boat for some fun times out on the water. They went out for a while and were very upset that the boat wouldn't go very fast. They made it back to the dock and complained to the boat rental agency. The agency came down to the dock to see what was going on and why the boat that was working fine the day before would not go very fast. Well...it helps when you remove the boat from the trailer! They had been putzing around the lake with the trailer still firmly attached to the boat! I kid you not!!! How do you explain to someone that they are a moron without being condescending!
