Diesel engine chips

Does anyone know anything about, or had experience with products like the Power edge Boost chip system to improve diesel engine prformance.

We have a 6.6, 2003 Duramax diesel, towing a 3255RL, and wonder if something like the Power Edge Juice will imrove performance and towing.
