Jack, I know Doug is a little shy, but this sure sounds to me like he would really like the wagonmaster gig next year.

Rich, now, now, now, you better play nice. During the evening fire I have been known to volunteer people for the Wagon Master job.

FYI for all,
In addition to the 6 or so members/SOBs who will be voluntarily staying outside the circle, there will be an additional 8-9 of the late arrivals that will be out there as well. We just won't have enough room.....that is if we can even get the same area as last time.

Good Morning ALL,
I have been in the Quartzsite area since Saturday 1/7. The weather is very comfortable. Right now at 7:33 A.M. and it's 41.5 degrees outside. 72 degrees inside! The coffee is good and the sunrise was beautiful and nothing too scary on the news. Y'all hurry on down. Happy Hour has been a little skimpy in the Hors d'oeuvre department. I have been to a few circle gatherings so I will volunteer for "perimeter guard duty" to make room. We are with the Beavers, Gary Maisonneuve, Judy Brent and the Carr's will arrive late today. We'll visit the Wagon Master's at the circle today and migrate to Plamosa Rd. for a week stay on the 14th or 15th. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Travel Safe,
John......WorkerB

Good Morning All!
We're boondocking at one of the casinos in Indio and slowly working our way over to Q. Our next stop is the FoY RV park/Spa down by Niland. A few days there and then over to join the growing group in Q. John keep the coffee hot! We hope to pull into the circle around the 14th or 15th. Hard to believe "skimpy" Happy Hours with this group!! See you soon. Dennis and Mary Kay and the Boys!

Hi to all. I'm new to this Montana thing having just bought a 2007 3400RL last July and didn't get out till November. We tried southern NM but the cold and snow drove us out to Senator's Wash outside Yuma for now. We've joined the MOC and are still finding our way around the MOC site and discovered this Quartzsite thing. Can we come up on day trips? Also we'll be traveling through with our old 1995 Excel ( not a Montana obviously). Are we allowed to camp for a few days respectfully down wind for a day or so? Our Montana is basically all straight from the factory so we've got to make some modifications to allow us to boondock and 3/4 time for the foreseeable future.
Thanks
The Kennys

Good evening to all, it is 49 degrees here in Q with no wind at 10PM and bright as day with the moon still almost full. So with the limited amount of space in the circle I will volunteer to assist WorkerB on "Perimeter Guard Duty" and help out on keeping the inner circle safe for all. We will be at our location until Sunday and then migrate on over to take up guard duty. And John is right our "Happy Hour" is a little wimpy here, so we can't wait for the fun to begin. See you all in a few days. Rich

Mike and Diane,
Welcome to the forum! You are more than welcome to show up for a day trip or how ever long you would like to stay. Just let me know when you plan to arrive and what city and state you are from and I will have name tags for you.
Jack

DH just had a dental, um...."situation" and we have to stick around Yuma the next couple of days to get it taken care of. Guess that means we have to miss the potluck on Saturday. We are VERY disappointed and hope someone will eat our share of food! We might be able to drive over on Sunday, but isn't that the day everyone will be packing up to leave?
We are bummed...

Many of us will be here after the rally officially ends. The most common departure date is 1/28 so there is lots of time left to come out.

It looks like I will make it after all. It will be a short stay of one night this coming Saturday. I plan on trying to make it in for the potluck at 1:00 but have to go to Scottsdale Sunday afternoon. I am looking forward to seeing the Montana gathering and will dry camp as close to the circle as is feasible.
