Water balloons that is, I am looking forward to it, my truck needs washed. Hope their (will not mention names) aim has improved, as they never hit the truck one time last year!! Practice beforehand please!!

I met with the owner of the rally park today to finalize a few things. There is only 30 amp service in the park. Sorry guys (and gals). I can't believe that as big as the park is, that they don't have 50 amp service. He did say that if you had a "cheater box" you could use it since we are using two back-in sites as one pull-thru. Also for those that wanted to come in early or leave late, you can do it. He said that it would not be a problem. For everyone, when you arrive at the park, you do not have to check in with them. Just go straight to your site and set up. I will collect the fees when you register for the rally and pay them with one payment. The pavillion looks great. Plenty of tables and chairs and even a small kitchen that we can use. We will have to set up the tables and chairs though (need some help). Remember to ask businesses that you may know if they would like to donate something for door prizes. We've had some nice donations so far. Keep working on it. Agenda should be coming out soon. Any suggestions or comments, please let me know. Thanks to all.

Steve,
Does the cheater box statement mean that they have two 30 amp receptacles on each pedestal? If it does, then I may finally get to try the cheater box that I have carried for four years and never yet had a chance to use it!! If not, we will make do with the 30 amp. You will not have to worry about help, we will all chip in however you need us to.

I guess I'll be building a cheater box. We'll help also. There won't be a shortage of labor.

I hope the pedestal has a 20A plug as well, my son bought us a cheater that has 50A female to 30A + 20A male. Have never needed it yet, hope it will work.
Looking forward to ralley and meeting new friends. We will need training but will be glad to help. How early are we allowed to arrive?

I don't know about what receptacles each box has. Sorry, I didn't look. I didn't even know what a 'cheater box' was until he told me about it. Since I only have one A/C, I have been seriously looking at the 30 amp cord with the 50 amp plug so I don't have to carry the 'anaconda' everywhere. Thanks for the comments and I will keep you informed.

Since the rally starts on Wednesday and ends on Sunday, I was told that if someone needs to come in on Tues. or leave on Monday that it would be ok.

Also, if you have any local rv stores, ask them for promotional items (key chains, coffee cups, can huggers) that they give away at shows or with new campers. These make good give aways and also advertises for them. I am doing bags for 30 campers, so the more items we get, the better. Thanks again for everything.

Larry,
Grab a cheapo 30 amp to 15 amp adapter at Wally world or similar, I always carry one just in case. At least that way you are covered both ways.

Steve,
Please add Chuck and Judi Meese to the list of attendees. We will plan to arrive on Tues the 9th and might leave on Mon 15th. Assume this is all I have to do for now as I understand you are handling the campground reservations? By arriving early I will plan on joining the MTeam for the water balloon welcoming celebration. Jim is a MTeam member. Wonder if CapnChris and ExNavyDiver will be there to bring the "equipment"? Thanks, look forward to seeing yuinz.

I may have to cancel as my son was scheduled to leave for A'stan on 5 Aug. and has been pushed up to 15 Aug. He may be pushed up again as he is still pending. If he is leaving later we would like to attend but if the 15th firms up , we will want spend our time with him. Please advise us as to what we need to do. Thanks, Larry

Don't worry about the rally. Family is much more important. If you make it, great! If not, that's ok. We don't have to pay except for those that show up. So if you are not there, no problem. Good luck and safe voyage to your son. God bless you all.
