Haven't seen any comments about this posting - does anyone have any advice for us? Is our price about right? We are also interested in any other venues for selling our RV?

There may be no comments yet, but if you notice around 120 people have read your post so far. That also goes a long way by word of mouth etc: So, don't rush to judgement. :-)

If you read thru some of the other Montana for sale threads you may gleen some info on where else to try. I think your price sounds low for an '06, but that is just my opinion.....

I kinda agree with Phil, your price seems a tad low..but that's to your advantage. One thing I'd suggest is to get a bunch of pictures of it, and put them up on photo bucket or such. Posting here is certainly a specific audience...there are other venues as well, that may not be as specific, i.e., Montana's, but would cover those interested in RV's and/or 5er's.

we are researching other venues for sale of 'Tana; obviously will post pictures on them, but we know MOC'ers know what a 3000RK looks like, so I didn't bother with that. Though if anyone expressed an interest, I could forward some pix then. Our price is a little low we know; we just want to pay off the balance of the loan. Thanks to all who have helped with advice and info. Every bit helps! Again, this forum is one thing that makes owning a Montana so special.

Being you're in LaGrange, TX, I would think PPL Motorhomes in Houston would be a good venue. If you haven't looked, take a look at their consignment sales. They move a lot of RVs. Also, they may get you more.

I agree that the price is a bit low. I recently sold our 2006 3400RL for $36k...it was pretty well loaded (two A/Cs, W/D, air pin box, king bed, new tires, etc). It was listed on Craig's list, EBay, one RV site, and, as a last resort, our local paper. The buyers saw the ad in the paper!

Jim or Judy-- You didn't mention whether it has been smoked in or if you have had pets in it also. Since it is a rear kitchen, do you have the single refrig or the dual door unit in yours? Just some other questions that might be holding comments back or responses! I like that floor plan. It has a nice space for the living area.

If you listed it on the 16th and today is the 20th you may be high on your expectations!!!

We are going to review our price, and as I mentioned earlier, check out other venues, but good advice about listing more of what our RV has to offer. I will come up with a better description, perhaps with some pictures and post in the very near future. All comments are appreciated; lots of experience from all the fellow MOC'rs!!!

I don't think there are many options left on the o6, 3000RK to add for value. I also have an 06,3000RK and wil be curious to see how you do. I feel you just have to be patient and it will sell sooner or later.

I hope my wife doesn't see your ad, she has been dying to have a rear kitchen. Tell me how you do on the sale, if you still have it late March as we travel
back to Florida from Puerto Vallarta Mexico through Texas we'll have to come by and look it over.

to tonycamacho: we will definitely keep you in mind. We don't plan to advertise anywhere else for the time being, so if it's still available, we would love to show it to you. We've had it checked out by an RV mechanic; excellent shape. New love seat and leather recliner (we hated the other furniture); new tires. Non-smokers. Safe travels. La Grange is half way between Houston and San Antonio and our ranch is 10 miles off Interstate 10.

Sometimes too low of a price can harm you.
