Gulf Shores area?
Just wondering how many people are heading for L.A. (Lower Alabama), or the western end of the Florida Panhandle this winter?
Maybe there will be enough of us down there to have a get together some time?

Ontmont, Delaine and me will be leaving the 31st or there abouts and will be going to Anchors Aweigh in Foley Ala. We will be there until the last of Mar 2010. We were in Florida last winter but just didn't find a RV park in or around Tampa that we liked better that Gulf Shores area. We also were in the Panhandle, Panama City area isn't bad and Destin is good also. But the Gulf Shores area is really more to our liking. We do like the East Coast of Florida, North of Miami, Daytona area. Most everything in Gulf Shores area is booked for Jan/Feb. We just this morning were talking about if the weather isn't good we will move West toward South Texas. We miss being "Winter Texans". GBY...

Delaine and John,
Once again our Thansgiving travels will have us at Topsail Hill Resort just east of Destin, FL. Last years get-together at the Pensacola Cracker Barrel was enjoyable for us. If we want to try it again this year or other location, we are all for it and would enjoy seeing old and new faces as well. I am sure we will learn of a couple of others in the area as time passes. I will monitor this thread to see if you both are interested in gettin gtogether that week.

We arrived at Gulf State Park, Gulf Shores, AL this afternoon and will be here until mid December, That is in L.A. (Lower Alabama, for those who might think it was in California).

John, Delaine and me arrive in Foley today. We are about 8 miles North of you guys. We are at Anchors Aweigh RV resort, its off CR 20 South we are in site #94. If your in the area drop by anytime, would like to meet and greet you two. Looking forward to the get together around Thanksgiving along with Bingo and his family. Just sent them a PM letting them know what ever they decide it will be fine with us. GBY....
