Wish we could be on this trip with you all. We just love Door County. Egg Harbor is one of our favorite places as is Fish Creek. We also went to Washington Island but only because we were there for about 8 days. I would rather shop in Egg Harbor and Fish Creek if time is limited. .. One of our favorite things that we did was go to a fish boil in Bailey's Harbor. (I think that is where it was but it will be in all the tourist books... It was a real fun evening....
There is a real good ice cream shop in Egg Harbor... Don't miss it... Anyone can tell you where it is.

See Rich if you had one of those 100 gallon tanks in the back you wouldn't worry about no Flying J. Just the cost to fill it.

For those going to Crivitz and then Minocqua/Woodruff area here is additional info that you may consider or act on individually.
Once the group leaves Green Bay Packer stadium and Hall of Fame on Thursday, August 6th, (probably mid-day), Crivitz WI is the next stop at Peshtigo River Campground. Reservations have been made by John (sailer) for one night and no call-in is required on your part. For any special considerations you can contact Peshtigo at (715)854-2986.
On Friday August 7th AM the group heads to Minocqua/Woodruff area.
You must call ahead to Hiawatha Trailer Resort at toll free 888-429-2842 for reservations. Depending on your personal choice, you may make your reservation for as many nights you wish. The group is generally set for two nights. Johnnie is the Park manager and can assist with discounts and set up preferences ( http://www.hiawathatrailerresort.com/)
With some personal committments, we may have to depart for home (NC) after Green Bay Stadium visit.
If there are any questions or concerns, please note them here on this thread. Support is there for everyone on this adventure.

Sounds like you all have a great line-up of places to visit after the rally. Wish we could join you all, but unfortunately, Irene has to go back to work after Mackinaw. I'm sure you'll enjoy all the places. Our personal favorite is Door County (Sturgeon Bay). We also enjoy the northwoods of Minocqua. Enjoy! Looking forward to meeting you all at the rally.

We are not going to be able to make the "After Rally" after all. We will be cancelling our full-hookup reservation at Baileys Harbor tomorrow. If you need our reservation, let us know.
See you all in Mackinaw!

Has anyone made reservations at Hiawatha Trailer Resort? Tried making reservations today and didn't know anything about us coming. It wasn't Johnnie; she's off today. Got to call back tomorrow>

We will go as far as Crivitz for sure then play it by ear from there. We will pass up the Packer hall of fame. Helen is not a sports fan and we have the Pro Football hall of fame nearby in Canton, Ohio and Over the years I have been there many, many times. Over the last 5 years I have driven Charters there at least twice a year so I am football hall of famed out..

Anyone know where everyone will be on Friday evening (August 7th)? Terrie and I would try to catch up. Her plane arrives from Denver at 4:00 pm.

Ron, we thought maybe Terrie would be a little too tired for company. Call us next week and we'll see where we are at and where we'll be!

In case anyone might be interested, the Wisconsin State Fair starts on Thursday. The key featured food is Cream Puffs. Steve - Terrie said she will be just fine, let us know if you are going to be around.

Well the "After the Rally" group just pulled out looking happy to be on the road! There are a few of us left who will be pulling out in a few hours.
THIS WAS A GREAT RALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We'll be heading south to the same dealer that RichFAA was at last week to have our new landing gear installed.

It was indeed Rich a safe caravan trip from Mackinaw City MI to Baileys Harbor, WI. The seven Montanas were cordially greeted by the CG staff, led to our sites and then a great fish boil as you mentioned, for dinner and a nice campfire to close out the evening.

Just a note .. Sailor our caravan leader got us all bunched up as we approached the C.G. That would be over a football field in length of TVs and Montana's. Sailor called ahead so the C.G was ready. One person calling off the site numbers and another on a Golf cart leading to the sites. We did not have to check in at the office saving much time. I was tail end Charlie, The back door, Cleanup, so the last Montana parked. I do not think it took 15 mins for all of us to be in our sites. Great planing by the C.G. As she put us in our site and I told her we were the last Montana she said that we we the best organized group she had seen come in. Good work by John(sailor) our convoy commander and Dennis
Mail2us) for c.g selection.
Oh..No restriction on Wood or Campfires. Wood at a reasonable price and very friendly G.G owners.. Big Difference from ..you know where..

You guys and gals just continue to rub it in.
Ain't fair that you are continuing to have way too much fun while I am stuck here in Florida.
This idea of an "After The Rally" escapade should be considered after all rallies.
Since we all have to leave the same day maybe we should think about this after Goshen.
