Glenn and Lorraine

You guys are in our thoughts and prayers. Good idea to go back to a good hospital and one you trust. It really means a lot to be comfortable and confident with your doctor and hospital. Take care.

Glenn, as Judy says, it's just a bump in the road. I just had a complete thyroidectomy (last Wed.) and with many prayer partners got thru it great. You will do fine with lots of prayers also! See you in Goshen!

Glenn and Lorraine, Cathy and I send our prayers also to you both and hope you have an uneventful and speedy recovery from the upcoming stone removal. Having been an AF Medic and civilian medic for over 26 years, I know this could be a potentially painful experience for you and trust you will be in good hands. Cathy uses the VA system for her care and I am switching over this fall and winter in San Antonio.

So, get back soon as we need your expertise on this here forum.......

OK, we are back at Avalon RV in Clearwater, FL. Arrived yesterday afternoon to some serious downpours and some very humid weather. Did stop raining long enough to get the Monty set up but it started raining early evening and POURED all night.
After rushing down here I find my appointment isn't until Friday the 10th but that still beats the Bronx.

I will keep everyone updated.

Sorry 'bout that! I did explain not attending the Great Lakes Rally but forgot this thread so here goes...

Had my doctors appointment Friday AM and it looks like we will be in Florida well into August.

They did reaffirm that I do have stones in my left kidney and my bladder as well as what appears to be a tumor in the bladder. I will be going back in in about 3 - 4 weeks for a stint and removal of the tumor. They will also go after any stones in the bladder. The stone in the kidney will be blasted without surgery. Not 100% what that means but as long as it works I don't need to undersatnd.
Until than I guess I'll be "sweating" it out in HOT, SUNNY, RAINY, SUNNY, RAINY and HUMID, HUMID, HUMID Flori-dah.
BUT, you can bet I will be doing everything possible to be able to attend the Fall Rally.

My prayers are with you Glen. And Lorraine too.
I can understand you wanting to get back to the VA. My son had surgery twice in last 3 years at the VA in AZ. He says he has received the best hospital care there than anywhere he has been.
You take care!

So sorry for all the problems you are having Glenn. Follow the doctors orders and you will be as good new and will be able to come to the Fall Rally. Take care and tell Lorraine hello for us. Patti and Steve
