Mystic, CT
We're here in Mystic, CT at the KOA (everything else was full for the weekend). The Wooden Boat Show is going on and we're excited to attend. Spent 4 days at the Rocky Neck SP in Niantic, CT (26 miles down the road). Absolutely love Connecticut.

Depending on your travel direction, yu might consider RI and Fishermen's Memorial SP, south of Newport in Narragansett. Several MOC folks recommended, and we enjoyed our stay there by the water in May. Full hookups and pull thrus available, but no wi-fi. Not far from the Block Island ferry, too.

Ditto on Vicki's sentiments.... I have been to that Pizza joint because it was featured in a movie by the same name and considered by some as Julia Roberts introductory movie. DW and I were pleased that the food was pretty good, too.

That's the downtown Mystic Pizza we were at, not the one out on the highway somewhere. We can't speak for that one.
We also have been at Fisherman's, near Point Judith, and enjoyed it.

Oh-Oh, there's two Mystic Pizza's? I think we were in the downtown Mystic Pizza in 2002. But try them anyways since they have some notoriety because of the Movie and their food wasn't bad. The main actresses in the movie worked at Mystic Pizza (Julia Roberts and two other movie "sisters").

Mystic Pizza I is the one you, and we, went to. It's the one downtown and the one the movie was based on. Mystic Pizza II is in next door North Stonington. We have not tried that one but have been to the original three times. The first time we made that one of our destinations on a sightseeing day originating from Fisherman's in RI.

Based on all of the recommendations, we ate at Mystic Pizza today after attending the Wooden Boat Show, and boy was it good (both the pizza and the boat show). Of course we brought some home for later! Thanks for the heads up on Mystic Pizza.

Mystic is a lovely place to visit. The pizza was also great. Spent last July in Mystic with some friends celebrating my 60th. We will return. Andy
