Ozz, when I looked at those pictures and put my cursor on them, they all identified as .jpg files. I don't know if tinyurl modifies them, but they are in the right format.

Jim,
Without opening them all,
Opened the first one, and when I put mouse over photo and right click and then go to properties it says it is a jpg. format.
Next, even if it is not, open the photo on your computer, in a photo editing program, you must have one. But, you will have to figure out what it is.
Open photo, you should then be able to go to FILE, SAVE AS, and look around in the list of stuff that pops up. FIND the .jpg extension and click away so that it saves. You need to know, where that photo is going to be saved on your hard drive, of course.
That is the basics, and of course, each case is different, maybe this short lesson will help, if I didn't fudge it up tooooo much.
Good luck.

They looked like they were in a JPEG format or JPG when I looked at some of them.
Nice house!

Hmmmm, I will let him know what you all said, but when he went to the web-site to post pictures, it had a browse button on each of the three allowed pictures, when he brought up the pictures, they evidently changed from JPG to whatever the web site wouldn't take.
Way above my pay grade...
Carol, I will send him your instructions, but he is less comfy with the computer than I am, I guess it runs in the family.
The guy is 75 years old, and still grabs a chain saw and cuts firewood, and splits, hauls and stacks it to heat his home with. Just doesn't know about computers.
Edit: Thanks, noneck, I guess we are all good at something.

I think in most cases, if you "save as", then you can choose the type or format to save the file. It is the line just under the file name.

Could it have wanted the pictures in JPG of a certain size? They are native 1024X682 which is a bit big for a web sight. Even Photobucket decreased them to about half. If this is the case any photo editor will resample them in the right size. Just a thought.

Roger, I think you hit the old nail on the head.
He got the task completed, thanks to the response from you all, and he did have to reduce the size.
