This morning was Dave Anderson's 75th birthday. Even though we early arrivals are trying to just survive here in the desert, we couldn't let such a momentous occasion go unnoticed.
The group gathered for a late morning (old people sleep in late) Brunch featuring Crab Fritatas, fruit salad, monkey bread, and of course, Bloody Marys.
Later, as is Dave's birthday tradition, we are celebrated with dessert. Dave is not one for birthday cake. His birthday tradition is to have Banana Cream pie. Kelly had baked two of them last night just to satisfy Dave even though we are miles from civilization.
Yup, it is another tough day here in the wilds of AZ.

I think there was a rumor that someone almost ran out of ice for their cocktails.
We will all bravely try to hang on until reinforcments arrive.
