Steve, This is just to let you know that we still intend to attend the rally. I have not made my reservation as yet as there are a few personal things I have to get taken care of in particular my grandson.
All things working out we will see you in Michigan.

Good morning everyone. What I am about to write is not going to be easy, but, Gail and I have had to make the decision that we will not be able to attend the rally due to the recent knee surgery I have had.
It seems that originally, there was only to be a repair made to the meniscus which would have made me good as new within a day or two. However, when he got in there, they discovered s chunk of cartledge floating around in there. At that point, the Dr. decided to puncture the bone to make it bleed to grow artificial cartledge. So, now I am on crutches for 4 weeks. Then comes physical therapy.
Gail and I are going to make the trip up but, we are going to postpone it for a month. I will call today and see if we can move the date to the last week in August and still keep our reservation.
When we made these plans to attend this rally, we did not know surgery was even in the picture. But, this deal has really messed us up for the summer.
Perhaps, we will be able to get to the Fall Rally over at the County Fairgrounds to "bust" the rally over there. Believe me, nobody is more disappointed about this than we are!!
Thank You all for the great support and allowing us to attend but, we will have to catch you all later.

Understandable, Dale. You can still print off Prices @ Mackinaw info anyway for reference for when you do get there.

As the Doubter, I just can't imagine going thru knee surgery, complications, crutches and then therapy just to get out of the golf on Saturday, Aug 1st. You are truly a trooper for pulling this scam off and very brave too!!
Seriously, our best in your recovery Dale. I've not had knee issues and can only imagine the pain that accompanies such procedures.
Mend well my friend and hopefully you and the DW can make the Sept. rally. Best wishes and healthy recovery.

Looks like I have some bad news also. We have to cancel on the trip to Mackinaw. We had to do some big repairs to our house and it wiped-out the budget for the trip. We were really looking forward to meeting all of you and having a great time. Maybe we can do it some other time. Looks like the Montana will be staying in the driveway this year.

Sorry to not have let you all know sooner, but Richard and I made our reservations several weeks ago. we are coming in on the 30th and departing on the 2nd.( I thought my hushand had let everyone know). Also, we have a four foot table if needed Let us know if we can be of any help. Sherry & Richard
