Memorial Day Weekend

Friday May 22 through Monday, May 25

Some folks come earlier, and some stay later.... you choose.

Due to occupancy regulations at the clubhouse, we are very sorry to have to announce
this rally is now officially CLOSED to additional sign-ups.

If you think you want to attend this 2009 Western Regional Rally at Lake Siskiyou, try to make a reservation. If they are all full in the "300" area, just keep trying as sites become available throughout the year.

When you call, be sure to let them know you are part of the "Montana Group"
and want to be in section 300.

Any MOC member is welcome, so if you are traveling and will be in the area,
we'd love to have you join us!
The campground is located in Northern California
at the foot of beautiful Mount Shasta
which is the second highest volcano in the United States.
Minutes to Mt. Shasta City, just off of Interstate 5.

We waited and we lost our regular site, so if you have not reserved you may be in trouble. We were told there was only one site left in the 300's as of this weekend.

Just made reservations for next year, same site 338. Bob wanted to change sites, but I thought I better get a reservation NOW in case it's gone. Perhaps we'll change sites this weekend, but for now 338 is it. May 21, thru May 27, leaving on the 28th.

I heard the sites in the 300 area are all about reserved up so I'm glad you got one. We had trouble getting a site for this year's rally... it took us until February.

We called today to make reservations for next year and were told that there are not any sites left that are wide enough in the 300 section. The person we talked to was familiar with the Montana group and seem to know that we have slides on both sides.
So we wait to see if somebody cancels or we can make reservations at the Mt. Shasta KOA, maybe the KOA could be a overflow campground for the rally.

Don & Joy.... that's amazing. Only 17 sites in the 300 section are reserved by MOC members so far unless there are some who haven't let us know here that they have 2009 reservations.

We know Montanas can fit in more sites than that so maybe that's the case?

We'll give it a few days and see if anyone comes forwards with a reservation. Then I'll give a call up to Lake Siskiyou and find out who is reserved in the 300 section.

That is probably the same person who told us there were only 2 sites left before we were at the rally and talked to someone else. They are being overly cautious. Try calling back and speaking to someone else.
