Mike and Carol VandeBerg from Combined Locks, WI. We are both recently retired and learning the RV ropes. We recently traded our old Monarch Motorcoach for a 2007 Montana 3400RL and a 2003 Ford F350 dually.
Presently we are on South Padre Island at Isla Blanca County Park. We winter two months here - the weather is much nicer (so far) than it was last year.
After sliding backward down a hill in Missouri and "remodeling" the right rear corner of my Montana I have begun repairs. (See my post in the for sale area re: some free stabilizer jack parts.)
We like the beach and relaxed living. So do our two English Cockers. Hobbies include Machine embroidery and quilting, PC's, eating good food, and people in general.

Welcome to the forum Mike & Carol. I'll introduce us. We are Bernie & Tammy and we currently live in Anchorage, Alaska. We are getting ready to move to Canada - Northern Alberta - just waiting on the word GO from the Consulate.
We have been RVing for (Bernie) 20 years and (Tammy) 10 years. This is our 4th unit and we just took delivery of the Montana on December 27th.
If you are ever headed our way, please give a holler. Glad to meet you!

Welcome Mike and Carol,
We are Tom & Joyce. I am originally from WV and Tom is from all over. His parents never stayed in one place very long. We have a summer place in the mountains of WV and spend the winters in FL in our RV. We also went from a motorhome to a fifth wheel when we retired. Welcome to the MOC forum. You will find great information here and good folks to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourselves.

Welcome to the MOC, Carol and Mike. I heard about the Missouri slide that you did from our friends Betty and Gary (they were camped near you) So glad that you weren't hurt and the Monty sustained only minor damage. How scarey that must have been for you guys. Glad to have you with us.
