Sign-up for Quartzsite Visitors Day-1/26 at 1:00
Our Quartzsite Gathering is only one month away. Time to plan the day we invite all MOC members and friends in the area to join us for an afternoon social. Who would believe that two years ago we began with 6 trailers and about 25 at our get-together. Last year we had 11 trailers and 40 attending. This year with 22 trailers, who knows how many we can get to show up.
This year every one will be asked to bring an appetizer or munchies to share. And, of course, bring your own drinks. We will provide paper supplies.
Sign-up on this thread and tell us what you will be bringing. See
you on Saturday Jan. 26 at 1:00 PM.

Can't say exactly what we'll bring, but it will be something good. We left our Big Sky at a dealer in Las Vegas for Warranty work and maintance while we are back on the east coast visiting our children and grandchildren. Flying back to Vegas on Jan 21, hopefully our Big Sky will be ready for pick up - I'll watch this thread and pick something good to bring as we get closer.
We are really looking forward to seeing everyone.

Susan says "...something will come out of the kitchen...". Of course she is also bringing "Belly Flops" for those addicted.

We are planning to day-trip up to see you all on the 26th. Put us down for contribution to-be-determined. There is a chance we won't make it but at this point it's looking like we can be there.
on edit, after discussion with the head cook - we'll bring cocktail wienies in bbq sauce. and toothpicks.

Steve,
That looks like the spot! Interestingly the map shows Plomosa Rd. going west off of hwy 95. But there is no road that direction. You can only go east. And your map coordinates look to me to be almost dead on. See you soon.

Interesting. Upon closer examination, the labels are misleading. It does show Plomosa going west but just that short section that Y's off of Boyer Gap Rd. Still, it does show a couple of roads going that way. Good old govt maps. This is on Mapsource.
Even more confusing, my streets and trips shows the exact same roads but the section east of 95 it says is Bouse-Quartzsite Rd.
That's why I posted this and asked. Thanks for the confirmation.

Plomosa Rd will take you east to Bouse. It is a scenic drive and well worth the time.

Steve and Vicki, really looking forward to seeing you. Sure we can't get you to stay for a couple nights. I'm sure we could hook you up to some power. I'll sign you up for the 26th. Mary Kay
