Sunday Pot Luck Baggie Omelette Breakfast

SUNDAY POT LUCK BAGGIE OMELETTE

MAY 27, 2007

10:00 am

You’ve heard of the “Omelette in a Bag”, well that is what we’re doing. Only, we are all sharing in the work like we did at the Buellton Rally and it worked great. With lots of different ingredients, we can all choose our own favorites for making our own omelettes. There will be helpers to do the actual cooking for you, you just have to do the "creating a masterpiece" of an omelette.

Bring utensils, plates, glasses, cups, 2-3 scrambled eggs in a Quart size FREEZER Zip Lock baggie. If you don't have freezer baggies on your pantry shelf, they will be available by Mariana of Lije Baley

Please sign up for what you will be able to bring, from the list below. All “Fixin’s” should be cut up into small bite size pieces, and enough to share among about 50 people (not everybody will choose everything).

Please bring all food items to the clubhouse about 9:30 am so we can set up.

We need a few food line volunteers to help keep things moving and organized.

Send a message via MSN to Parrothead
Sharon, I'll repeat my offer for coffee. It is Starbucks and is already in the Monty. Mornings and I are not always compatible so I probably will not do the omelets but may come to visit.
Happy trails..............

Sharon, I'll sign up to bring a potato dish. Not sure what type yet, but I usually put everything but the kitchen sink in my breakfast potatoes.

Happy Friday!

We sure enjoyed the baggie omelets at Buellton. I would add that the baggie should be Freezer quart baggie-- in fact, why don't I bring the baggies so we don't have any accidents in our cooking pots!!!!
I'll also bring a pound of crumbled bacon and green tabasco sauce.
It will be great fun and very tasty!!!!!

I wasn't sure I could cook enough potatoes for 45-50 people so someone else making some also is fine with me.

Oops, that will teach me to keep current with rally postings! I thought our original signup for the breakfast remained the same! I had already volunteered to bring the fruit salad. I will bring the red/orange/green peppers instead. Nancy
