We will be in the Q area from the 20th to 25th or so. We would love to be a part of the MOC get-together. Will watch the forum for time and date.
Happy New Year to everyone.

We plan to be in the Q area from the 20th or 21st till...unknown at this time, but not later than the 28th. Will be part of another rang in the desert (our first time at Quartzsite and possible extended boondocking) but will plan to come by the MOC area while there. Keep us posted on the date and time of the get-together. Would love to meet some new MOC friends and re-connect with old ones.

Hey, that's cool, Doug. I really didn't even think we'd have a sign. Thanks for everyone's help that makes this gathering possible.

As it turns out, we will not be coming to Quartzsite this year. We are staying in California until April, when we go to Buellton. So we will see you all at Buellton.

It's official, we will not be coming. Leona's Mom has been ill. She's better now but not strong enough that we feel we can leave just yet. We've moved our vacation back to the beginning of February (we hope) so by the time we get down there I guess you'll all be gone. Doug has the info for the golf course so I guess he's the golfer man now. Have a good time, we'll see ya when we see ya.

Well, I gotta go to Yuma and take care of some Tri-Care stuff at MCAS Yuma. Carol and I will leave here on the 21st for Quartzsite and stay at least 2, probably 3, nights there. Looks like I will have to hit our savings account since she wants to do "just a little shopping".

Well gang, sounds like a party. We hope to be in the area as well with some novice dry campers and first timers to Q'zite, but I think we will be in another area of the desert. We will come by to meet some of you face to face finally. All depends on whether our dealer can get done with work they claim to have been doing for the past two + months. We are pushing to go get it on Tuesday, Jan. 16th, (I hope, I hope), pack it on Wednesday, and leave for Q'zite on Thursday, Jan. 18th. If so, will see you there. Mike

We have picked the 20th to come down. The Rv show will be going on...we want to see that Big Sky as well as the big gem show. We will leave the 3400 in Havasu City and truck down.We had enough of Quartrzsite and camping on the way down. Sounds like a good group of MOC'ers

DHenry,
We will be pulling out of Golden Shores this Sunday, 21 Jan. We will be joining the group off Plomosa Road for at least 3 nights. We have to go into Yuma for some military medical stuff but should be able to visit with many of the MOC owners.
Looking forward to some fireside chats.

Well, we are on our way! We met up with Dick and Toni and are on the road. Mel figures we will arrive around 1:00pm. Who all is there yet? We are a little apprehensive right now as we have only traveled about 35 miles out of Yuma, and are seeing tiny "RAIN" drops on the windshield! Hope it is not a show of what is yet to come? See ya in about an hour.

I'm sure someone will change the weather for us, Joy! LOL We're driving in from Phoenix in the rain, too. I think there are mountains out there! Just saw a sign....62 miles out. See you soon!

Well Judy, I'm not too sure about the rain going away. We are now about 10 mile out of Quartzsite and it is now raining with "BIG" drops of rain and the road is soaked! See ya in a couple of hours.

Well, we could always dream! I was just asking Glen is my hig rubber boots were still in the basement! Not what we think of as desert camping. 32 miles out and getting closer by the minute. Any special directions once we get to Qzite?

Well it looks like most folks have found the Quartzsite camp on Plomosa Rd. But for those who are still in transit the co-ordinates are:
N = 33.45.403
W = 114.11.800
The turnoff is just past the 1 mile marker..... a green sign on the right side of the road. Go past that and make the first left turn you see. You should see the MOC sign.
Just stay on that road until you see us. We are on the left at the end of that road. We have a huge circle of Montanas this year. Don't think you can miss us once you see sign.
It is raining but not too hard yet. Lot's of rocks so it shouldn't be too messy. Hope to see you all soon.
