Hummm ..Must have got my threads mixed up....as for the changes . the only thing we did not care for was the black fridge door,But it would not have been a deal breaker for us at the time because the 3400 met all of our other requirements.

That's great Rich - saw your rig at the rally & it IS nice. As for the thread - no big deal.
As you've read in my post, a few things bummed us out with the new models - just hafta wait & see what rolls out in the future. We had our hearts set on a new 3475RL next spring, but I guess that model is history now, which is a deal breaker for us...
By the way, thanks for getting that tarp back to MIMF...

Well ..I am waiting for the next "improvement" to come out..It will be hard to pass that up....As a after thought on the Black fridge door. When We were looking at campers in 04 and 05 at Rv shows we saw some very high dollar campers with the black fridge doors.. Thought it cheapened the overall look .We had our hearts set on the 06 3670 and that model went away also..hence the 3400...

Rich,
I agree with you that some things aren't deal breakers. The interior of the shower was one of them. I would be very upset if I ordered something and it came in with several new changes.
If Montana is making these changes then they should be willing to take back an order if the customer doesn't want the product that arrives. Can you imagine if you ordered your 3400 with seperate a area for the potty only to find when the Monty arrives it was all together in one room? I understand a refrigerator front isn't this drastic, but couldn't this happen since the have the right to make changes without permission?
I would have hated to have ordered our Silverado with the seats we wanted only to have them make a change in the type of seat style. I ordered a specific type of seat because of my back. I want what I want... thus I bought the Montana we have after looking for over two years.

I agree Keystone should offer the option to refuse delivery if the changes are not to the customers liking. However, we were thrilled when the 06 3670 we ordered came in with the new outside graphics and more importantly mor-ryde suspension. They gave us no warning about the changes nor did they inform us that ours would be one of the last 3670s. However, we were happy to have the changes we got and the last of the only Montana floor plan we liked. However, it's just my opinion but, I really do not like any of the new changes in the Monty especially the black fridge!

Jim and Bev!
The 3475 is going away! OH NO, if we had to order that's what we were looking at.

There are so many of us that just love the floor plan in the 3475. I just hope that Keystone is reading this topic. I just know they will be able to fit it in somewhere.

I sure hope Keystone keeps building the 3475 because our best friends and us are looking to purchase two of them in Jan. . I don't know what will do if they don't make the 3475 in 2007 ?????

Well a lot of folks liked the 3670 and it went away..sales determine what stays and what goes. Lets see how the new 3485 does. My predection is it will be short lived. Note that it is, I think, the only model in the Montana line that does not have a enclosed potty room . Think there is only one in the challenger line and one in the Everest line the same..That means that only folks who like that setup will buy one..don't think sales will hold up...and...If Montana should come up with another new model..where will it go in the line or what will it replace?????

I was surprised to see the black fridge, I do not like them. I would think Keystone would tell you of the changes..I would be upset to order one and not have what I ordered.

I guess we are the odd couple on this issue. We really like the black frig door, our 2005 had the wood and we think the black door is nicer. Also, the darker wood stain is also nice. Bottom line is we really like our Montana just the way it is and wouldn't change a thing.

Word we got at the factory is that if ya want a 3475RL, order it before the end of the month (unfortunately, that doesn't work out for us). After that, its history. What a shame, 'cuz I think the 3485 will be a bust also...

It is a shame, the 3475RL is a great floorplan. I also was not impressed with the new 3485RL. I guess I would keep my eyes open in the upcoming months... Never know what is on the horizon, especially since there are so many changes throughout the model year. =)

The 3745 had a open floor plan sort of like the 3670 so we are not surprised at its passing. Sounds like they need a place to build a new model..If they stop the 3745 the end of the month..wonder what they will start building shortly thereafter???
